at last! after weeks of scanning craigslist ads, i finally found a beautiful vintage raleigh 10-speed mixte that was sized for my height. i never named my 3-speed globe, but i’m naming this one vera. it’s tough for me to buy american-market bikes, because i’m short — the best fitting bike i ever bought was my red bike in beijing, sylvia — but vera and i are getting along just fine. i have the rest of the summer to fix her up. 

i haven’t been fooding much lately. work is crazy, i’m lifting weights again, and working hard on my leg. i did some asian-mediterranean food mashups but ate them too fast to take the pictures. :)

i wonder what i should do with my globe?!
