the monks
the monks were picky eaters. they didn’t have the lobster. (NO LOBSTER?! MOAR for me.)
the conductor for the opening ceremonies of the beijing special olympics (mr. zhu) ate up though, and then he played some lovely chinese folk songs on his gourd-instrument-thingy in our living room. quite an honor.
and then… he did impersonations of the monkey king from the journey west and donald...

bike tour
i guess with the semester finishing up i can start doing a little logistical planning for my big spring training goal/project, a short US credit card tour (my other project is the broad street run, but i’m not so freaked out by that. training for runs is pretty straightforward if you don’t want to set records or anything.)
the thing is, i’ve never been big on US traveling...
